NexGard contains a brand new ingredient not used in any other flea and tick protection. Afoxolaner, the ingredient in NexGard, works by absorbing rapidly and safely into your pet's bloodstream and causes uncontrolled activity the flea's and tick's central nervous system, which causes death. Cautions:
NexGard is for use in dogs only. The most frequently reported adverse reactions include vomiting, dry/flaky skin, diarrhea, lethargy, and lack of appetite. The safe use of NexGard in pregnant, breeding or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures.

Works great! We live where there is a high populations of deer ticks carrying Lyme disease. We have used this product for years. Our dogs have never had Lyme Disease.

My order arrived a bit squished, but the product is fine. Thank you! I didn't give five stars because of the amount of time it took to arrive. I ordered as soon as I could after visiting my vet. Our dog had only one NexGard left. Discount Pet Medication had the best price. I had to email to find out when my product would arrive, and I did get a prompt reply. The meds arrived three days after our dog should have had her regular 'first day of month' dose. I will order earlier next year, if this is still the best price point.

Discount Pet Medication has great prices on NexGard and other products. Last spring, I tried a flea/tick collar on my dog, and we had a horrible tick season. I finally broke down and ordered NexGard, and stopped finding ticks. I swear by this product. My dog seems to like the taste and has no problems with this medication. I will not start another spring without NexGard.
