NexGard contains a brand new ingredient not used in any other flea and tick protection. Afoxolaner, the ingredient in NexGard, works by absorbing rapidly and safely into your pet's bloodstream and causes uncontrolled activity the flea's and tick's central nervous system, which causes death. Cautions:
NexGard is for use in dogs only. The most frequently reported adverse reactions include vomiting, dry/flaky skin, diarrhea, lethargy, and lack of appetite. The safe use of NexGard in pregnant, breeding or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures.

Much easier than Frontline. The dogs were bothered by Frontline; don't know if it irritated or itched, but they didn't tolerate it well. Nexgard is like giving them a treat. Great price and fast, free shipping.

Great product
Nexgard is my go to flea product. My four dogs are both inside and in the yard and I've had no problems with fleas since starting them on Nexgard. They willingly gulp it down each month so it must be appetizing to them. I gladly tell others how good it works and recommend it often. I will only purchase it through Discount Pet Meds due to their great pricing on this product.

After years of using Frontline with declining effect, I changed to Nexgard about one year ago. This product is unbelievable. It's a monthly dose but I skipped it once and my dogs (2 Husky's and 2 mixed breed) did not show any signs of flees/ticks at all. If I skipped a dose just once with the Frontline tablets in the past, flees and ticks would be back very quickly. This indicates that the potency and lasting effect are superior. Very satisfied user
