Directions for Use:
- Administer once every month throughout the year.
- For dogs up to 11 kg (25 lbs): Give 68mcg (1 tablet from the blue pack).
- For dogs 11-22 kg (26-50 lbs): Give 136mcg (1 tablet from the green pack).
- For dogs 22-44 kg (51-100 lbs): Give 272mcg (1 tablet from the brown pack).
- Dogs over 44 kg (100 lbs): Require a combination of tablets.
- Ensure your dog has a heartworm test before starting Heartgard.
Caution:
- Avoid administering to dogs allergic to the ingredients.
- If your dog hasn't been on ivermectin for up to 6 months, start the medication and test for heartworms after 6 months.

- Rare side effects when used at recommended dosage.
- Safe for all dog sizes and breeds, including puppies, pregnant females, and Collies.

Heartgard Plus
We used to get Heartgard from the vet years ago because that was what was available. When the vet switched medications, our dogs would not accept the new medication without being hidden in a treat. This went on for years because we did not know we could order the heart worm medication that our dogs preferred online. Now our dogs line up when it's time for their medication. They love the beefy taste and the chewy texture. We will never buy heart worm meds from another source. The prices are less than the vet and the package is delivered promptly.

The same product I can purchase from my vet , however, it is a substantial savings through Discount Pet Medication. Have to wait a little longer, but I make sure to order a month before I will need it. With 2 large dogs, the savings is a must!

Same exact product I can purchase from my vet but much cheaper. Comes fairly fast and in mint condition. Tracking the package should be more involved when it arrives in the US as it becomes hard to find out what day it will arrive.
