Description
Frontline Plus for cats is a topical 'spot-on' application for the treatment and prevention of flea infestation and biting lice on cats and kittens. It is also effective against all stages of the brown dog tick, the American dog tick, lone star tick and deer ticks (the major carrier of Lyme disease). Frontline Plus has a rapid onset of action and kills re-infestations with newly acquired adult fleas for at least one month. Frontline Plus also prevents the development of flea eggs, larvae and pupae produced by any adult fleas acquired for up to 6 weeks after treatment. Frontline Plus treats and controls Flea Allergy Dermatitis in cats. It can be used on kittens from 8 weeks of age and is safe to use on breeding, pregnant or lactating animals. Frontline Plus is waterfast from 24 hours after application.

Directions for Use
Part the coat and apply 1 pipette (for up to 16 lb) to skin level to an area where licking cannot occur (e.g. on the back of the neck). Monthly application is recommended.
Cautions
Frontline Plus for cats is for external use on cats and kittens 8 weeks or older. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides, and debilitated or aged animals. Frontline Plus is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals. This product is flammable. Keep away from heat and open flame. This product causes eye irritation in humans and is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin. Seek medical attention if swallowed. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If in eyes, flush with plenty of water. Cats with a known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact with Frontline Plus for cats.
Possible Side Effects
Pets may experience some temporary irritation and itchiness at the site of product application. If signs persist or become more severe within a few days of application, consult a veterinarian immediately. Other suspected adverse reactions are extremely rare but may include transient local reactions at the application site (scaling, local hair loss, itchiness, redness) and general skin itchiness or a hair loss have been reported after use. Other suspected adverse reactions which occur extremely rarely are hypersalivation, reversible neurological signs (hyperaesthesia, depression, nervous signs) or vomiting have been observed after use.

Frontline plus
Have used the product only two months and it seems to be doing a good job on our cat.... Cat stays outside about 8 hrs/day. anyway i would buy this product again...........

Fleas and Ticks
Our cat does well with Frontline Plus. No fleas noted but we still find ticks on him sometimes when he returns from an outside adventure in back yard. Wish he had more tick protection.
