Description
Peptosyl Suspension (200ml bottle) is an oral liquid formulated for the effective treatment of diarrhoea and gastrointestinal disturbances in dogs and horses. This versatile solution is suitable for use in cases of gastrointestinal upset and promptly alleviates most gut-related issues stemming from dietary or non-infectious causes. It is essential to note that Peptosyl does not obscure underlying veterinary issues but provides rapid relief for a range of gut upsets.
Dosage and Administration:
- Administer orally
- For Horses: 0.5 - 1.0 mL per kg
- For Dogs: 0.25 - 0.5 mL per kg
- Repeat the dose every 6 hours for the initial 36 hours, followed by administration at 12-hour intervals for an additional 2 to 3 days.
- It is advisable to withhold food for 24 hours if possible (except for nursing foals or puppies). Avoid prolonged administration to animals less than 30 days old.
